DAB Pumps’ EVOSTA 3 combines installer-friendly design with greater efficiency and performance

A circulator pump may be a relatively small part of a heating system, but choosing the right one can have a significant bearing on installation time, energy consumption and long-term reliability. With EVOSTA 3, DAB Pumps has developed its circulator range to give installers a high-quality, efficient pump that is straightforward for them to fit, set up and leave working with confidence.

Building on previous generations of EVOSTA models, EVOSTA 3 brings together improved functionality and ease of use with the manufacturing quality and pump expertise associated with DAB Pumps. Older fixed-speed circulators can continue operating at a set output regardless of what the system actually requires. EVOSTA 3 uses electronic control and a permanent magnet motor to enable the circulator to respond more efficiently to system demand, helping avoid unnecessary energy consumption. Rather than simply running at one fixed output, EVOSTA 3 can therefore be configured to provide the performance required by different heating installations.

For installers, however, efficiency needs to come without additional complexity. This is an area where EVOSTA 3 has been designed to stand apart. Its clear user interface provides straightforward access to settings and operating information, helping make commissioning quick and intuitive.

This ease of installation is particularly useful on replacement jobs. Heating engineers frequently work in confined spaces and often need to restore heating and hot water as quickly as possible. EVOSTA 3’s compact design makes it suitable for installations where available space is restricted, while attention has been paid to simplifying electrical connection and set-up.

An automatic degassing function provides another useful feature during commissioning. Air in a heating system can cause noise and compromise circulation, particularly after maintenance or when a system has been drained and refilled. The dedicated function helps remove air from the circulator, giving installers another practical tool for getting the system running correctly before leaving site.

The combination of straightforward replacement and improved efficiency gives installers a clear story to take to customers. Instead of focusing solely on the cost of replacing a failed pump, they can explain the benefits of installing current circulator technology designed to match its operation more closely to the demands of the heating system.

Ultimately, EVOSTA 3 has been designed to make a routine but essential part of an install easier. Efficient electronic operation addresses energy consumption, compact dimensions and intuitive controls help installers on site, while quality manufacture provides the confidence required for long-term use.

For heating engineers looking for an easy-to-install replacement or a high-quality circulator for a new system, EVOSTA 3 demonstrates how DAB has continued to develop its circulator technology around what matters in practice: getting the pump installed, commissioned and operating efficiently with the minimum of fuss.
