AM2 preparation: key links and checklist
To prepare for your AM2, the NET website has lots of resources and advice to help:
The NET Readiness for Assessment Checklists explain what you’ll have to do during your assessment, to give you time to prepare and ensure you have all the knowledge and practical experience.
The AM2 Journey explains the steps from the ‘gateway check’ when you are approved to take your assessment, through to receiving your AM2 certificate.
Use NET’s resources to help you prepare:
- Be sure to read the NET Pre-Assessment Manual carefully – it has full details on all the sections of the assessment and common errors to avoid
- Watch the Top Tips videos on the NET website
- Download the Amped Up and Inspection and Testing apps to hone your skills
- Review the Template Forms used in the Inspection & Testing section to familiarise yourself with these before the assessment.
