Alex Robinson, Head of Training at NICEIC, commented:
“This funded opportunity is a real game-changer for experienced electricians who have the skills but not the formal qualification. With the pace of change in our industry, it’s more important than ever to ensure electricians are properly recognised, qualified and ready for what’s ahead. This programme helps electricians futureproof their careers while meeting the requirements of the evolving Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS).”
With changes to the EAS coming into effect in October 2026, the programme supports access to Electrician Plus aligned qualifications and helps electricians futureproof their career and business.
Places are limited and subject to eligibility criteria.
Eligible electricians are encouraged to secure their place while availability lasts. For more information and to register your interest contact: traininginfo@niceic.com
*Costs may apply if the candidate is also required to achieve an Inspection and Testing qualification to complete their chosen EWA route.
