Marshall-Tufflex expands CPD programme with new GRP seminar

Marshall-Tufflex has expanded its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme with the launch of a new GRP Cable Management Systems seminar, providing consultants, specifiers and electrical professionals with practical guidance on selecting and specifying cable management solutions for demanding environments.

Accredited by The CPD Certification Service, the one-hour seminar is delivered in person by a member of the Marshall-Tufflex Specification Team, offering attendees the opportunity to gain valuable technical knowledge while discussing real-world applications with industry experts.

As the use of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) continues to grow across sectors such as water treatment, rail, marine, chemical processing, renewable energy and healthcare, understanding when and how to specify GRP has become increasingly important.

The seminar covers:

  • The composition, manufacture and key properties of GRP
  • Understanding corrosion classes and selecting the right material for the environment
  • How GRP compares with steel and aluminium cable management systems
  • Typical applications across industrial and commercial sectors
  • Installation best practice, including jointing, fixing and earthing requirements
  • Relevant industry standards and specification guidance

Delegates will also explore the performance benefits that make GRP an ideal choice for corrosive and hazardous environments, including its exceptional corrosion resistance, lightweight construction, electrical insulation properties, low maintenance requirements and long service life.

The seminar forms part of Marshall-Tufflex’s ongoing commitment to supporting the industry with high-quality technical education, helping specifiers and contractors make informed product selection decisions while ensuring compliance with current standards and best practice.

Whether you’re designing infrastructure for a water treatment plant, specifying cable management for rail projects or working in chemical, marine or renewable energy environments, this CPD seminar provides practical knowledge that can be applied immediately to future projects.

Book a CPD seminar

The GRP Cable Management Systems CPD seminar is available to consultants, consulting engineers, contractors and other industry professionals. Whether attendees are designing infrastructure for challenging environments or seeking to broaden their understanding of modern cable management systems, the seminar provides practical, specification-led guidance from the experienced technical team.
